Musical Snack: SITHA’s teaser for their Studio Live Session

After postponing their one-man show a couple of times, neo-post-punk band SITHA thought it was time to do something different. Instead of performing in front of an audience – which is something that musicians mostly prefer to see how the listeners will react to their music – the three band members jumped into a studio to record a live session. The title of said live session, New Clear Visionist, is derived from their first album released in the spring of 2020.

This studio live session can be purchased through the webshop of SITHA and will be sent to you digitally. To promote the publication of the latest release, the three-piece decided to share a teaser to show what you can expect from the more than 45-minute studio live session at FACTORY by DRAWING AND MANUAL. Filmed by a team from Qsyum! and DRAWING AND MANUAL, the band worked hard to put out a unique and cosy performance of high quality. The stage visuals are done by photographer Osama Kanemura and consist of footage of his 2016 film Kentucky Pride Benjamin.

The performance will be delivered by Google Drive. You can watch the video on Google Drive itself in a lower quality, but also download it to be able to watch the video in HD quality. If you want to know more about the band and their music, check out the CD review about NEW CLEAR VISION.

Still from the music video by おとなりにぎんが計画 (Otonari Ni Ginga Keikaku) for the song "ピアスを外して (Pierce wo Hazushite)". A girl is in what seems to be a children's amusement park and sitting in a cart on rails that you can bring forward by pedalling. The still also shows cloudy weather and the top of some trees, because the cart is on quite some height.
