Death metal band DEFILED just started a European tour as a support band for Polish death metal legends VADER, but after a few days, they were already standing on the airport of Schiphol to take the plane back home.

On that same day, 12 March, they were supposed to perform at FLUOR in Amersfoort, but earlier that day the Dutch government shared new nationwide measures to try to contain the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The new measurements were the cancellations of gatherings of more than 100 people, including public places such as museums, theatres, concerts, and sports events. These measurements will apply up to the first of April. This means that many venues have to close down for the rest of the month. Other European countries also announced new measurements that are comparable or even stricter, which means it for the touring bands to put a stop on the tour.

The European tour was already shortened, since some shows would take place in Italy and this country is currently in a lockdown. Now the booking agency behind this tour, Massive Music, announced that they are looking for new dates as soon as possible with the aim to be on tour this Summer. If that will be with the Japanese death metal band is still unknown. Keep an eye on the social media of DEFILED for that.
