This is not a sponsored review and because of this I won’t mention where I bought this set, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you’ll be able to find this one in several webshops.

Kracie – Tsukameru Fushigi Dama Mystery Ball – Simple
Price: ± €3
Extra supplies: Water, Scissors, Plate.

With this kit you create two flavours of ‘mystery balls’, these look sort of like water balloons. The package contains three powders, a mixing tray and spoons.

Flavour: ♥♥
The two ‘mystery ball’ flavours were described as grape and soda. They were pretty sweet, but I did recognize the intended flavours. The soda flavour was slightly more subtle.

The texture when I bit into the candies was a bit weird, but after making some smaller ones they strongly resembled the texture of the fake fish eggs from this kit. The bigger ‘balls’ had a thin jelly outer layer and was liquid inside.

The yellow water tasted like lemon.

Time needed: ⧗
This kit takes almost no time at all. Just add water, mix, drop and fish out the candies.

Difficulty level: ★
This kit is very easy, just keep the powders and fluids separate from one another and follow the steps. Initially it does seem like you’re doing it wrong and just clouding the yellow mixture with the blue and purple, but when you fish the ‘balls’ out you can see it went fine.

Similarity: 📷📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks pretty similar to the packaging. The only differences are the rubbery look of the final product and the shapes. The shapes don’t always turn out as well as you’d expect from the packaging.

Want to enjoy this kit again?

Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry. Don’t use soap to clean the mould.

You could probably recreate these by experimenting a little with recipes for ‘artificial ikura’
