Meigum – Edible Fluffy Cloud Candy – Simple
Price: ± €6
Extra supplies: Water and Scissors.
Foamy cloud candy, dipped in soda-flavoured “sky-powder”. Sounds interesting, right? To make this cloud candy all you need to add is a little bit of water. The package contains two sachets with powder, a bowl, a measuring scoop and a spoon.
Flavour: ♥♥
The texture of the “cloud” candy reminded me a lot of shaving cream, because of all the bubbles and the sound it made when I scooped it up. It had a slight sour flavour to it, but a sweetness as well. The intended flavour was apparently yoghurt, I didn’t recognize a specific yoghurt flavour in it. The blue dipping powder had a soda flavour to it, but it wasn’t very strong.
The two parts fit together well and if you are a fan of sour candy you should enjoy this kit as well.

As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks pretty much the same as the picture on the packaging. The dip is slightly less bright in colour, but otherwise there is no difference.

You could clean and reuse the bowls, but you could use a different bowl as well and look for an edible foam recipe.
This is not a sponsored review and because of this I won’t mention where I bought this set, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you’ll be able to find this one in several webshops.
