Meigum – Jellyfish Aquarium – Simple
Price: ± €5
Extra supplies: Plate, spoon and cocktail pick.

With this candy kit you create edible jellyfish, with a yellow core. On the packaging you’ll be able to see which shapes the yellow centres will have. The packaging contains a mould, a spoon, three sachets with powder, a scoop for measuring water, a bowl to mix in and a bowl to make the ‘jellyfish’ in. The only thing you need to add is water.

Flavour: ♥♥
The outer layer of these candies is slightly firmer, but the see-through part underneath remains liquid. This lighter part tastes like soda. Inside you’ll find the yellow core, which is chewier and seems more like an actual gummy. This one had a pineapple flavour.

It takes very little time to make this kit.

Difficulty level: ★
The steps that you need to follow are pretty simple and there aren’t a lot of them.

Similarity: 📷📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks pretty similar to the picture on the packaging. The see-through part is a little less clear and the shapes of the yellow candies in the middle aren’t as easy to make out because of that.

You could use this mould to create chocolates or press kneadable candies into it. Repeating the e

To recreate this edible jewel you could refill the mould with jelly, or you could use something different, pudding or chocolate, for example. Making the same ‘jellyfish’ probably won’t be possible, but you can use the moulds for the cores.

This is not a sponsored review and because of this we won’t mention where this set was bought, search online using the name of this candy kit and you should be able to find it.
