Girl band SCANDAL announced that they have decided to postpone the tour dates planned in Europe and North America as part of the Kiss From The Darkness World Tour. The reason for rescheduling the shows is the current situation of COVID-19 and because the safety of all fans and employees is the highest priority for the band.
The European tour was planned for September with shows planned in London, Paris and Berlin. The venues of the shows in London and Paris had already announced the postponement, while the show in Berlin hadn’t announced anything yet until today. Since it is officially confirmed by the band themselves that these shows will be rescheduled, it is now waiting for the new dates. The band apologised to the fans who were looking forward to the shows and added: “We are currently working very closely with all parties involved to be able to safely hold this tour. Please do hold on to your tickets and keep an eye out for updates.”
The shows in North America, also originally planned for September, are rescheduled to November. The band also added a new additional show in New York. The tour will now start on the 11th of November in Toronto and end on the 21st of November in Atlanta.
SCANDAL also reminded the fans of the upcoming special live stream to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the band. It will be the first time that the band will stream their performance worldwide. In the meantime, the band has been active with making new music. The latest release has been a digital single, titled SPICE, a song that was composed by MAMI with lyrics written by RINA. This song is featured as the theme song for XPICE, a short anime production from XFLAG.
All changes of Japan-related events and events where Japanese musicians are planned to perform are compiled in a list that you can find here. This list will be regularly updated.
