This is not a sponsored review and because of this the store where the set was purchased won’t be mentioned, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you should be able to find it in several webshops.

Heart – Butt Detective Chocolate Puzzle – Simple
Price:
 ± €5 per kit
Extra supplies: Scissors, Spoon, Refrigerator, Microwave*, Heatproof Bowl or Cup, Optional: Piping bag or Sandwich bag
* Instead of melting the chocolate in the microwave another option would be heating it au bain-marie, with a heatproof glass bowl on top of a pan with a small layer of boiling water. Stir gently until all of the chocolate has melted.

Butt Detective, also known as Oshiri Tantei, is a character from the eponymous anime by Toei Animation. He is well-known in and outside of Japan and can be recognized by his butt-shaped face. This kit provides a mould and chocolate to create a chocolate puzzle of this cheeky character. There are two versions of this kit available, each with a different mould. It also includes a card on which to lay the puzzle, per version of the kit there are two versions of cards available.

Flavour: ♥♥♥
Both kinds of chocolate were creamy and had a nice snap to them. The milk chocolate was slightly bitter, but still sweet. The yellow chocolate had an artificial banana flavour to it, but also still tasted like white chocolate.

Time needed: ⧗
Aside from the time this kit spends in the refrigerator, it hardly takes any time at all to create the chocolate pieces and put the puzzle together.

Difficulty level: ★
This kit is very simple, the only thing to pay attention to is distributing the chocolate as it can be pretty runny and easily fall into the wrong part of the mould.

Similarity: 📷📷📷
As the pictures below show, the final product looks very similar to the packaging. The packaging does show a drawing, of course, but it gave a good indication of what the finished product would look like.

Want to enjoy this kit again?

Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.

If you want to reuse the mould you could make another chocolate puzzle, with whatever kind of chocolate you’d like, or use it as a mould for gummies, fondant or something else.
