New Asian pop culture festival in The Netherlands: Heroes Made in Asia

No luck for those waiting to visit the first edition of the Dutch edition of Heroes Made in Asia. Originally planned for 23 and 24 May of 2020, the event was previously postponed to August 2020 due to COVID-19 and the measures taken by the Dutch government. The last news of the organisation is that the event is now postponed to the weekend of 8 and 9 May 2021. The location for this first edition will be still at Evenementenhal Gorinchem.

The event has recently announced a cosplay competition in collaboration with Hype Creations in which an additional amount of money can be won, respectively € 1.000,-, € 500,- and € 250,- for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winner. The event is also aimed at lovers of comics, games, music and food. Furthermore there will be an online cosplay catwalk places on June 5th.

If you have already bought a ticket for this event, it is good to know that it will remain valid for the new dates in May 2021. But it is also possible to get your money back or get a voucher, should you not be able to go to this event in May 2021. It is also possible to decide to make your ticket a donation to support the event. More information can be found on the website of Made in Asia.

All changes of Japan-related events and events where Japanese musicians are planned to perform are compiled in a list that you can find here. This list will be regularly updated.
