The past year was a turbulent year for vocalist Kihiro, known for his work in the bands LOKA, UNDIVIDE and Supe. After pulling the plug on the band LOKA, the musician has decided to continue his activities solo and it looks like he has quite a few plans.

X-LIMIT TV

In order to stay in touch with his fans, he has revived X-LIMIT TV, informing his fans all over the world about music and artist life in the music world with a humorous tone. The first video since the restart was published on 13 February and has English subtitles. On this same YouTube channel, the musician also shares parts of his past projects, including the band Supe. He recently published a video in which he looks back on his band activities while staying in the United States.

New video project

Another project Kihiro is currently working on is collecting various videos from all over the world for his new lyric video. He is looking for video recordings of the surroundings of places where he has been with his previous bands, but also locations where he should actually go. Kihiro says: “Since I don’t have much of these contents (which I should have filmed while on tour), I’m asking if you guys can help me out. If possible, I really want to add all the countries & cities I have been to, which will turn into a great video.”

What exactly is Kihiro looking for? Beautiful moving images of about 15 seconds or more, in which you film your surroundings. Think of the streets, highways, mountains or the beach. It is preferred although not mandatory to film from a moving vehicle for the best effect and that you do not film vertically. So do you film with your smartphone? Tilt your smartphone and start filming. Kihiro has shared a video as an example for inspiration. When the video is ready, send it in viaten.o1752076023rihik1752076023@ofni1752076023 1752076023 and let him know where the video was made. There is no deadline set for this project, but the faster the better.

DOWNLOAD DOG BAND

Besides the fact that Kihiro gives solo performances with the music he has produced in the past, he is also working on another short-term project, namely the DOWNLOAD DOG BAND. It’s a project led by LEDA, who we know better from bands like DELUHI, UNDIVIDE, Far East Dizain and nowadays also part of BABYMETAL’s KAMIBAND. The band will further consist of a bass player and a drummer who will be chosen from the applications submitted last month.

This project will be on show at DOWNLOAD Festival in Japan on March 29th at the Makuhari Messe where bands like My Chemical Romance, Evanescence, Jimmy Eat World and many others will perform. More information about the festival can be found here.
