All-female power metal band Aldious will tour Europe for the first time, starting on 30 September in London. After recruiting their new vocalist R!N, they have planned an international release for their first album in three years and did announce a European tour.
The European tour dates are as follows:
Wednesday 30 September: The Underworld – London, United Kingdom
Friday 2 October: Petit Bain – Paris, France
Saturday 3 October: Roadrunners Paradise Club – Berlin, Germany
The band from Osaka has been active since 2008, but since 2010 the band gained recognition in Japan’s metal scene. A decade later and Aldious are recognised as one of the original pioneers of the next generation of all-female metal bands. They’ve performed at various types of festival across Japan, including SUMMER SONIC, LOUD PARK and VISUAL JAPAN SUMMIT. For this year, they have been performing for the first time in the United States with a show at N.A.M.M. and now with their announcement of their first European tour, it seems that 2020 is a good year for the band. Aldious consists of vocalist R!N, guitarists Toki and Yoshi, bass player Sawa and drummer Marina.
The upcoming record is titled Evoke 2010-2020 and consists of a collection of their songs that they released over the past decade and will be the first time for the fans of Aldious to hear the new vocalist on this release. The international version will include a track that can’t be found on the Japanese version of this release, a bonus track called We Are, a never-before-released English version of this song.
