During the European tour of SUMAC, the experimental band ENDON will join for a part of this tour to perform in a few countries. They will support the American/Canadian post-metal band SUMAC and Canadian hardcore punk band BAPTISTS. SUMAC worked together with multi-instrumentalist and cultural provocateur Keiji Haino in the past. ENDON and SUMAC are labelmates of each other, as they are part of Thrill Jockey Records.
The quintet ENDON consists of vocalist Taichi Nagura, guitarist Koki Miyabe, drummer Shin Yokota, and electronics/noisemakers Taro Aiko and Etsuo Nagura. A chaotic mix of screeching and distorted guitars, squeals and several genres smashed together, that is a short description of ENDON. Born of the same Japanese scenes that gave rise to the likes of Merzbow and Boredoms, their sound is equally diverse and harsh. The reason for the European tour is their latest release, the album BOY MEETS GIRL. The album is available through Thrill Jockey Records.

Thanks for all the information about forthcoming tours of Japanese artists. Will be difficult for me to choose which one to enjoy!
