This is not a sponsored review and because of this I won’t mention where I bought this set, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you’ll be able to find this one in several webshops.
Heart – Okashi na Salon version 3 – Simple
Price: ± €5
Extra supplies: Optional: Cup, Warm Water
This is a newer version of kit I’ve made before, which you can find back here. You can create whatever hairstyles for the doll you’d like and each kit includes one set of stickers. There are four varieties of the stickers available.
Flavour: ♥
Unlike the last version, which had a cola flavour to it and brown ‘hair’, this version has pink strawberry flavoured ‘hair’. The candies have a strawberry flavour to them, but a lot milder than you’d expect from the strong scent. They aren’t overly sweet and didn’t have a very dominant flavour.
Time needed: ⧗
This set doesn’t take up a lot of time, but you can spend as little or as much time as you’d like creating the hairstyles.
Difficulty level: ★
The steps of this kit, kneading the candy and pressing it out, are very easy. You can make the hair as difficult or easy as you’d like.
Similarity: ??
The final result looks pretty similar, but the hair is a lot less full than on the packaging. If you want this result you can use extra strands of ‘hair’ and add those in between the ‘hairs’. Aside from that the colour isn’t exactly the same as the one on the packaging, it’s more flesh coloured than pink.
TIP: If the candies are hard to knead you can use the included ziplock bag to put them in and put this in hot water for a few minutes.
Want to enjoy this kit again?
Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry. Don’t use soap to clean the mould.
If you want to reuse the mould you could buy some more knead able candies or use fondant to make the hair again.
