After a successful first world tour, the second world tour is set for singer Ado in 2025. The tour, titled Hibana, is considered one of the biggest world tours ever organised by a Japanese artist. Ado starts in April at the iconic Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo and will hit more than 30 cities around the world, before closing it in Honolulu, Hawaii, in August. Eight shows are planned for the European leg of the tour in June, starting at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp.
Born on 24 October 2002, Ado is a singer who started her music activities in 2017 and shared covers on the video-sharing website Niconico. In 2020, she made her major debut in 2020 with the song うっせぇわ (Usseewa), which was her big break in the Japanese music scene. This was only the start of something big for the musician as she continued to make waves. The momentum continued with the release of her first album, 狂言 (Kyougen), which became a big hit as well. She lent her voice to the soundtrack Uta’s Songs, a total of seven songs, which accompanies the 2022 animated film ONE PIECE FILM RED, including the theme song New Genesis. In addition, Ado signed with Geffen Records so she can release music in the United States. Last year, she released the opening theme song, クラクラ (Kura Kura), simultaneously 20th digital digital single, for the popular anime series Spy x Family.
After wrapping up her first world tour earlier this year, she performed at the National Stadium in Tokyo, making Ado the first female solo artist to perform here, which was followed up by a tour of Japan. In the summer, she released a new album, 残夢 (Zanmu). With her second world tour, Ado aims to ignite a spark in the world and showcase her growth since the first tour, Wish.
