Shortly after the announcement that singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze would perform at North Sea Jazz Festival 2025 in Rotterdam, the question arose whether more European shows would be added in July. That question has since been answered, as more shows were soon added, including an appearance at Roskilde Festival and multiple shows at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.
Seven shows have been announced so far, but more may be added. Shortly after the European tour announcement, news emerged that the singer-songwriter will head to North America in August for a tour there.
The musician has been playing the piano since a young age under the influence of his father. At the age of 12, he shared piano covers on YouTube and this eventually led to a label deal. He is known for his catchy pop songs, combining western pop and R&B with influences from jazz, classical music, and traditional ballads. Since his debut in 2020, he has achieved great success in Japan, including stadium concerts and multiple No. 1 hits. With his song Shinunoga E-Wa going viral on TikTok in 2022, his international fame also grew, now resulting in upcoming tours through Europe and North America.
