As someone who grew up as a Dragon Ball fan, I’m always interested in Akira Toriyama’s other works. The Sand Land film released in Japan last year never got a Western release but having it as a series with some extra content is even better. Particularly with the game on the way around the same time, feels like a great time to check it out.

I think this story has all the ingredients to turn into a sweet and adorable romance anime. The style itself seems to suit this kind of cute storyline and I think it’ll be a nice easy series to watch, without too much drama.

Oshi No Ko was the driving force behind this studio’s success the previous year. I notice that this is an original work with a small fan base, but I see a lot of potential in the grouping of creative girls who aspire to achieve greater goals as a team. It’s truly relatable to me.

Recommended by PHX:
As romantic comedies go, and there are usually several each season, the plot for this is certainly not the usual. Potentially a lot of fun to be had as they enjoy life as younger people once again, what would you do if you could live life again… There have been a lot of decent romantic comedies over the last couple of years, but the unique plot of this one makes it one to check out.

Like many other Isekai our main character is originally from Earth and gets reincarnated into a fantasy world. Instead of a powerful ability that could be used in combat he gains the ability to analyse the inherent abilities of the populace in the area his family rules over. This causes him to find different individuals like the warrior Ritsu, the wizard Charlotte and the strategist Russel. When the political situation of their domain starts to become more tumultuous this ability starts to become more and more important so that Ars can safeguard his people during these wartorn times.
Recommended by Lecros:
Isekai have been a very popular genre as of late as it’s easy to bring the viewers up to speed with a new environment and writing a story about a new ability. This may make some shows feel similar, however Ars’ story is inherently different in my opinion as managing a group of people and later on the politics between different regions have a high importance. This story also helps evening out the odds as his overpowered ability depends on others and other countries may also have highly talented individuals. This helps even out the power levels in the story a bit and helps immerse us in the story. I’ve been a fan of the manga for a while and seeing bits of Ritsu, Charlotte and Russel again in the trailer makes me excited to experience the story in animation.

Now that Hikari is nearing his second birthday, his dads have created their own community around them, with Yuuki, the beta college student living next door, and Matsuo, a single dad. But soon people that had cut ties with Masaki and Hiromu start returning, the two dads are unsure of the intentions of the people from their past.
Recommended by Yuki:
Although I personally dislike the alpha, beta, omega theme in this story, I hope the loving and heart-warming family moments make up for it. I think this series could be full of fun and sweet moments, both between the two dads and between the dads and their son. If you like BL anime, you might want to try this one out as well.

After three seasons of Black Butler produced by A-1 Pictures, the baton was passed to CloverWorks. I’m curious to see what this fresh point of view will bring to the table, or school desk. Personally, I’m thrilled to see it’s back up and running.

This series seems to be a remake of the same-named anime from 2006 which seemed to be quite popular. It seems to be a chill series, making it, in my opinion, nice to watch and something calm to have on the side during the busy daily life hectic.

A simple misunderstanding that potentially leads to something much bigger. An interesting spin on the high school romance anime, there is potential for a good mix of comedy and heart touching moments. If done well, they could take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

He explains that male blood tastes disgusting and the blood of someone who is unloved tastes even worse, but Ruka can’t drink the blood of girls. He offers Mito a place to stay, in the Hijirigaoka Boys’ Academy dormitory, as long as he can drink his blood.
Mito accepts, but there’s one problem: Mito is actually a girl.

This anime series sounds like it’d be interesting to watch. I wonder if there’ll be a lot of funny moments, or if it will be very serious, but either way the summary sounds pretty interesting. I wonder how common vampires are in this story, since it appears to be common knowledge in the dorms that Ruka is one. If you like vampires and romance anime, you should try this one out!
