Haru Nemuri is definitely no stranger to AVO Magazine and neither is she for Europe. Earlier this year we wrote about her tour in the United Kingdom and the diverse summer festivals she would perform at. In October she will be back for a tour through more countries in Europe.

An artist who got famous thanks to her poetic singing and Japanese pop sounds whose genre you can’t label anymore and tries out various different sounds. Her latest songs show a certain degree of anger about the world and she wants to make the kind of music that could have helped her through the rougher parts of her life. As can be read in her interview with Tokion: “I make music I wish was available to me during the roughest part of my life”. This is also visible in her post about becoming an honoree for Forbes’ ”30 under 30 Japan”, where she mentioned feeling responsible for reaching such a position.

Fans that were not capable of seeing her in the United Kingdom earlier this year now have the option out of various different West-European countries spread over 10 shows, starting on the 7th of October in Ireland and ending on the 23rd of October in Germany, where she visits the Netherlands at the Rotterdam’s Left of the Dial Festival on the 19th and 20th of October.

At the end of this month, on the 29th of September, her new EP INSAINT will be released, and judging from the cover art, it seems to be inspired by various elements from Christianity. The single I Refuse is already available and thanks to the dissonant tones immediately places a sad and angry emotion with the listener and combined with the lyrics and emotion in her voice when she screams sets a clear tone that we may see on the rest of the album. On top of that, all song on this release was recorded with a band.
