Last autumn, legendary rock’n’roll band Guitar Wolf were seen touring Europe, but they are currently gearing up for a summer tour through Europe in June and July. The tour kicks off in Spain with a handful of shows, then the band will be performing in France, United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium for performances. In total, we are talking about almost 20 shows in six countries. During the last European tour, the band skipped the Netherlands, but this time the band will be seen at the well-known large festival Zwarte Cross.

That is certainly not the only festival where the three-piece band will perform, as there are also shows scheduled at Espina Fest in Spain, La Ferme Electrique, Rock’ink Stomp Festival and Very Rock Trip Festival in France. It should be noted that tour organisation Rockin’ Dogs is still working to add more shows to an already extensive tour of Europe. So keep an eye on Guitar Wolf’s social media for updates.

From the band’s inception in 1987, the guitar-bass-drums trio has had a simple motto: play faster and harder. And that can be heard in all their explosive, loud, and saturated songs of pure rock’n’roll with influences ranging from surf to garage punk, and even rockabilly. Guitar Wolf’s main recipe is as follows: songs rarely tap the three-minute mark (or longer) and contain an infectious energy. In 2023, Guitar Wolf released a live album of Toru’s (Drum Wolf, a member of the band since 1991) last performance in March 2022, titled BLACK LEATHER BOMB LIVE at WWWX. Currently, the band consists of guitarist and vocalist Seiji, bassist Gotz and drummer Takuro.
