We are in the middle of May, and normally we would have published an article about club VERSE at the start of the month, but this time things are going slightly differently for club VERSE. The virtual club will only open its doors twice this month. In recent weeks, work has been going on behind the scenes to improve the virtual stage. In addition, the club will be closed on the last Friday of May because of two major virtual events.

On 31 May, the ambitious open-world music festival theALL2025 will take place, a large virtual event, organised by ALLVERSE, with performances by 20 virtual acts on five different stages in VRChat. A day later, on the 1st of June, it will be finally time for loy to celebrate his 5th anniversary as a virtual artist with his solo concert. It is a postponed show from December, now loy will be celebrating his 5.5 anniversary on 1 June, also known as loy Day.

Back to club VERSE: as mentioned at the start of the article, the virtual doors will open on just two occasions this month, on Friday 16 May and Friday 23 May.

What is club VERSE?

Club VERSE is best described as a combination of a livehouse and a club, where you can attend performances but also relax in the bar with a drink or a game. It is part of ALLVERSE World, a virtual world that opened in 2021; the opening of club VERSE on 25 October 2024 coincided with the second anniversary of ALLVERSE World. After you arrive at the world in VRChat, you will immediately see how the world is designed. In fact, the club is in the middle of a city on an island named VERSE CITY.

At least four weeks each month will be scheduled with performances by a diversity of virtual musicians, mainly from Japan. The schedule may change due to circumstances, so it is good to know that the most up-to-date information can be found on the organiser’s social media account, loy.

Club VERSE may be a virtual event, but you are also able to bring it into the real world with official merchandise. It all started with exclusive items sold during special editions of club VERSE, but now there’s also a wider range of merch featuring the club VERSE logo.

The performers in May 2025

Read below who will be performing in April and at the bottom of the article there is more information on how to attend club VERSE. The list is in the order in which they first appear on the weekly flyers, from left to right.

TOCORO十 (Tokoroten, tocoro10)

Besides being a virtual singer, Tokoroten is a multi-instrumentalist, as she can play the guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboard. You can best describe Tokoroten as a singing beckoning cat working under the cat deity with the task of inviting people to different places every day. She will also perform on the Moon Stage during theALL2025 on 31 May.
