After cancelling the European tour in 2021, the psychedelic rockers of Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. have announced that they have scheduled a new European tour in the autumn of 2022, with the title MetaReboot. Before the pandemic hit, the autumn period seems to be a regular tour moment for the ‘soul collective’.
With the announcement of the upcoming European tour, the tour dates have been shared with the fans. Starting in October, with shows starting in the Netherlands and ending up in Belgium, they will also be performing in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Germany and Italy. Since the pandemic and after the many cancellations and postponements of tours and shows, the band has uploaded their entire catalogue to their YouTube channel “as a gift during this crazy time”. These videos will stay up for the duration of the pandemic. In addition, they have launched their Bandcamp page and filled it with many releases. They also did some special live performances online. Furthermore, they have started a project, where they put out promotional videos in collaboration with their fans, under the name Acid Mothers Temple meets VISUALISTA. At the time of writing, several videos have already come online and the score stands at 33. Furthermore, the band has also had a change in line-up, bassist Wolf quit at the end of 2020 and has been replaced by Shozo Sawano since this summer.
