Ichiko Aoba returns to Europe for a summer tour

As part of her International Tour 2022, Kyoto-based singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba will be returning this August for another European tour. The last time she toured through Europe was in the fall of 2021. In addition, she will tour through North America for the first time, this tour is scheduled to take place in October. Tickets for the shows in North America seem to go fast, there are a few shows sold out and new shows added. Some of the European tour dates are also sold out.

* Ichiko Aoba will perform with 12 Ensemble

Ichiko Aoba started to play the classical guitar from the age of 17 and released her first album, two years later, sharing her fantasy world through sound. She has released several albums, with her latest album being アダンの風 (Adan no kaze, Windswept Adan) of which a live version was also released, recorded at Bunkamura Orchard Hall. In 2020, marking her 10th anniversary, she established her independent label hermine. Ichiko Aoba most faithful companion is the guitar, but she also plays the piano, clarinet, accordion, and flute on her own. The acoustic sound and songwriting are inspired by her dreams.
