This is a digital painting of the avatar of Vocaloid producer and songwriter Kikuo with colourful and flowing long hair and two red horns. The painting shows Kikuo in a movement where he moves his arms, making it look that he has several arms. The avatar seems to be mysterious with a quiet but expressive look. This painting has been used for the Kikuo World Tour 2024 – 2025 “Kikuoland-Go-Round” promotion.

This coming week starts the long-awaited European leg of songwriter and Vocaloid producer Kikuo’s first world tour. It promises to be a great success, as several shows have already sold out. Due to high demand, additional shows have even been added to the original tour schedule. The latest additions were shows in Madrid and Warsaw.

Kikuo has become one of the most popular and influential creators in this corner of music. He is known for his unique musical style: a mix of cute songs paired with dark subjects combined with upbeat music. With an eye for detail, Kikuo uses unique instrumental textures, harmonies and sound effects. Kikuo began his career as a music producer in 2003 and made his first Vocaloid creation in 2010. In his Vocaloid songs he primarily feature Hatsune Miku as the main character. Since then, he has built a loyal international fan base. Besides touring the world, he is also active in the virtual world for gigs, in October he organised another release party in VRChat to celebrate his latest creation, a Vocaloid rave world called よるとうげ’ (Yorutouge/Midnight Pass). This virtual world even won an award at the Advanced Visual Media Association Lumiere Japan Awards 2024.

After touring the United States for the first time at the beginning of 2024, it clearly left him wanting more—a world tour. What was special was that he was the first Vocaloid producer to have toured the United States. In the summer of 2024, Kikuo’s world tour kicked off in China, in addition he has performed in South and North America, as well as a number of shows in Australia. The world tour will now conclude in Europe with a tour consisting of 13 shows, while as many as seven shows were originally announced. Several shows had sold out soon after ticket sales started, underlining Kikuo’s popularity. The success of the tour is obvious: not only in Europe, but worldwide many shows were completely sold out, including all performances in China, South America and Australia.

As for now, tickets are still available for shows in London, Berlin, Cologne, Brussels, the second show in Dublin, Madrid and Warsaw, among others. Some shows do not have many tickets available, including the show in London. In addition to regular tickets, VIP upgrades are also available. It is important to note that VIP upgrades are only valid with a regular ticket.
