The four band members of KLONNS stand side by side in front of a concrete wall with a door. The wall seems to be painted in greyish and off-white colours with a bit of red. Three of the musicians are dressed entirely in black clothing while the fourth band member wears jeans and a light pink coloured jacket over a white shirt with a black cat on it. Some filters have been applied to the photo which clearly shows some noise in the picture and also makes it look a bit dated. Photo by Chihiro Yoshikawa.

Hardcore punk band KLONNS – described as the new wave of Japanese hardcore – will go on tour through Europe for the first time with a new LP in their back pocket. The European tour will take place in May and consists of 9 tour dates in 7 countries, starting in France with the tour final in Spain.

Formed in 2016, the Tokyo-based band first experimented with combining black metal and hardcore punk, which over time evolved through a noisy D-beat style and inspired by party night Discipline—which showcased various music genres—to one inspired by the raw energy of 1980s Japanese and US hardcore. Their upcoming LP release is set to be released in April via labels Iron Lung and Black Hole and will follow up their EP Crow which was released in the spring of 2022.
