The reggae punk band SiM will soon make their live debut in the United Kingdom with two shows in June. The four-piece will perform at Download Festival and has a headliner show in London.

The headline show in London has the title THE RUMBLING iN LDN and will take place on 13 June at O2 Academy Islington. In addition to regular tickets, there are also VIP Meet & Greet tickets available. But before this show will take place, the alternative band will perform at the 20th anniversary edition of rock festival Download Festival on Sunday 11 June. It is unknown if SiM will only perform in the United Kingdom or whether they will go further into mainland Europe with shows. As they are in Europe during the festival season, it would be expected. But we have to wait and see to find out if they have more plans for shows in Europe.

SiM is an abbreviation for Silence iz Mine and started with activities in 2004. The current band line-up consists of vocalist MAH, guitarist SHOW-HATE, bassist SiN and drummer GODRi. With songs with attitude filled with headstrong lyrics, their musical approach combines a variety of music genres; nu-metal, alternative, hip-hop, ska, reggae, dub, and punk. And according to the vocalist MAH, the band was “born in a live house, grew up in a live house and will die in a live house”.

Recently they gained a lot of popularity for their theme song related to the anime series Attack on Titan, titled The Rumbling. In 2022 they made the step-over from Universal Music Japan to Pony Canyon. Soon, the four-piece will release a new single, titled UNDER THE TREE, which is also a theme song for Attack on Titan‘s third part of the final season. Of course, the four-piece band has much more to offer, including five albums, three mini-albums, several singles, DVDs and most recently they released the EP, BEWARE. The alternative band also hosts (yearly) events like DEAD POP Festival, TRIPLE AXE (with coldrain and HEY-SMITH) and THE EYEWALL NIGHT.
