Harajuku Pop Princess Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will finally return to Europe for a couple of shows, in early June, which is part of an upcoming world tour. After cancelling the European tour which was scheduled for November 2022 to celebrate the musician’s 10th anniversary, it soon became known that the Japanese pop musician had plans to return very soon.

The upcoming tour, which is entitled POPPP, will be a world tour starting in the United States in May and ending up in Spain in June. In total, there are 2 shows planned in the United States, in New York and Los Angeles, and four in Europe, in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and London.

Compared to the European tour that was supposed to take place last year, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will skip Germany and Switzerland this year. Instead, the musician has now two shows in Spain planned, both will be at the Primavera Sound festival.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu shared a message about the upcoming world tour: “The theme I decided on for the new tour’s title is ‘POPPP’. I’ve been doing pop music since my debut, but this theme is all about blending the unchanging parts of myself with the parts of myself that I continue to change. I love pink, so I’ve decided to make that the concept for my upcoming concert. I hope you’ll come! I can’t wait to meet you all again! See you soon~!”
