Meet your favourite artists
Last week we announced our first artist. Judit Mallol was born in Barcelona in 1994. She’s been drawing since she was able to hold a pencil and she hasn’t stopped until today, when she’s finally been able to make her passion into her profession. Judit worked for Ubisoft designing characters for games designed for cell phones while she finished her degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Meet Judith during Heroes Made in Asia, you have the chance to ask for tips, have your work signed or buy products. In total we have 4 artists keep an eye on the social media accounts for the next announcements.
Show your cosplay during the Cosplay Contest!
Show the audience what you’ve got and grab your moment to shine on the Main Stage of Heroes Made in Asia! Sign up for the Cosplay Contest and compete with the best cosplayers of the Netherlands and even from abroad. Participating is definitely not just for the honour, because the total prize pool is € 1.750,-. Before, during and after the Cosplay Contest, the participants will be judged by a professional jury with famous cosplayers. Registrations will open Tuesday, 15th of March at 2:00 PM.
Learn to fight like Kirito
Two new workshops have been added to the Active Heroes Area lineup. You could already participate in the workshops in Japanese martial arts, two Korean martial arts have now been added; Hapkido and Ssang Geom. In Hapkido, an attack uses the strength and movement of the opponent as much as possible to unbalance and/or control him. Then the counterattack is launched.
Ssang Geom is fighting with two swords. The double swords are known by Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and also by Kirito who fights his way through the virtual world in the anime Sword Art Online with two swords.
