Esprit D’Air returned back on the stage of London’s O2 Academy Islington on the 20th of February, the first show with an audience in a couple of years, to celebrate the release of the melodic metal and electronicore solo project’s second album OCEANS.

A day after that show, Esprit D’Air shared a message on social media with the message “We’re not done yet, UK!”. The social media message consisted of the announcement of a tour through the United Kingdom in the coming summer, including a headlining show at Amplified Festival in London. This tour through the United Kingdom will continue celebrating the release of the second album by Esprit D’Air. The tour will feature special guests, who will be announced in the near future.

The release of OCEANS was made possible through a successful crowdfunding campaign where fans of the melodic metal and electronicore solo project was given a chance to support the independent music project. On the release day of this second album, Esprit D’Air shared an enhanced edition music video of the popular song Leviathan, whose cyberpunk-inspired music video was directed by award-winning director Andy Mihov and also made possible through a crowdfunding project. After the release of the original music video in 2020, there was time taken to add some extra things to take the video to a new level.

Be sure to read our interview if you want to know more about Kai of Esprit D’Air and his way of and his way of working on the development of new music.

Colourful artistic cover of TsuShiMaMiRe 20th full-length album バンドは水物 (MIZUMONO), featuring the three members at that time, vocalist and guitarist Mari, bass player Yayoi and drummer Maiko. There are masks drawn on their faces and on top of it the band name and album title in a font that seems like splashes of water.
