Metalcore band CRYSTAL LAKE will return to Europe for a new tour in the winter of 2022. The European tour is planned for February and the beginning of March and CRYSTAL LAKE will share the stage with American metal bands CURRENTS and KINGDOM OF GIANTS. In total, there are more than 20 tour dates announced.
The European tour has been announced shortly after the Tokyo-based metal band released their latest single, titled Curse, and the addition of a couple of new members making it a five-piece. GAKU and MITSURU, who have been supporting the band for a long time, are now official members of CRYSTAL LAKE. In addition, the band added the guitar player TJ to the band line-up, who was formerly active in HER NAME IN BLOOD that got disbanded earlier in July. At the moment, the band is doing a short tour through Japan, where all the dates have been sold out.
After cancelling the European summer tour in 2020, due to the current situation around COVID-19, it was waiting and see if the five-piece would decide to tour this summer. They had plans, but since the situation is not better at this moment those were cancelled. The metal band didn’t want to stand still and decided to hit the European stage in a cooler period of time.
