We will have to wait a little longer for the second edition of Italian idol festival Monster of Dolls. The organisation has been busy with the arrangement of a new edition since 2020 after the successful first edition in 2019, but has had to postpone it several times due to the situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally, the second edition was rescheduled for September 2021, but the organisation has decided to cancel the date. When it will take place in 2022 has yet to be announced.
The organisation shared a message on their website and social media about postponing the event once again, explaining that there is still uncertainty about the regulations regarding the state of emergency, quarantine measures that are now active as well as the regulation of travel between Europe and Japan, making it clear that it would be difficult for the artists to hop back and forth from Japan to Italy. The organisation will soon announce a new date, as well as information on how to get a refund.
All changes of Japan-related events and events where Japanese musicians are planned to perform are compiled in a list that you can find here. This list will be regularly updated.
