The first European tour of Visual Kei metal band DEVILOOF was actually planned to start in a couple of days, but due to the current situation around COVID-19 pandemic, it became very difficult to start the tour. A few weeks ago, DEVILOOF and Kinetic Vibe noted that they were in a discussion in order to postpone or cancel the tour.

After this message, it became quiet for a while, but in the end, the decision was made and shared. The European tour as it is planned now will not take place, but they are now in the process of replanning the tour in 2021. According to Kinetic Vibe the tour has been moved to the spring of 2021. The new dates will most likely be announced in June of this year. The tickets that have already been purchased will remain valid for next year’s shows, but you also have the possibility to get your money back or receive a voucher. Kinetic Vibe advises keeping an eye on the Facebook events for more information about the tickets or to send a message to the venues.

DEVILOOF also shared a message for the European fans who were awaiting their arrival: “This whole situation has really thrown many plans up in the air, so we apologise for the delay in getting information to you, but with the different parties involved we were bound to wait for all answers needed so not to publish any misleading communication. We still want to come to Europe and are trying to set new dates for next year, so please be patient and wait for us!”

Those who follow the Visual Kei band, know that they were planning to go to Europe for quite some time. In 2017 DEVILOOF announced the plans for a European tour in 2018, a year later it was announced that they would tour in Europe in 2019. In June 2019, the band broke their silence with the message that they haven’t given up on their plans and that they are planning for their world tour. A few months later, they announced that the European tour was finally set for 2020 and shared the dates in November. It is a sad conclusion to see that this tour will not happen, but it is good to know that the metal band and the tour organisation will not give up.

All changes of Japan-related events and events where Japanese musicians are planned to perform are compiled in a list that you can find here. This list will be regularly updated.
