Anna Takeuchi invites you to the studio for a performance of the song SUNKISSed GIRL

It has been a while ago that singer-songwriter Anna Takeuchi published a video of the song catchy song SUNKISSed GIRL, filmed at AT Studio Live, where she shows you the techniques used in combination with her signature guitar play on the acoustic guitar to make this song as it is. It is interesting enough to still share this to show and inspire how one can make music and brighten up the living room with sunny music.

A bit more convoluted as you might have thought, with the use of the several electronic instruments like a MIDI controller. She stands there on her own, but shows her capability to arrange the song while singing and playing her guitar. It is a good demonstration of how the song is more complex. It is a good quality to have the ability to do a solo performance but fill the stage as if you are a whole band.

The song feels light and warm and makes the urge to go outside much stronger to be greeted by the sun. SUNKISSed GIRL can be found on the first album of the young musician, titled MATOUSIC. An album of 11 tracks, some songs have been released before making it a sort of compilation album. One of the other songs on that album, RIDE ON WEEKEND, is used as a theme song for the WOWOW’s original drama series Arimura Kasumi no Satsukyu. As a result, SUNKISSed GIRL is a danceable song that invites you to sing with the clear-voiced Anna Takeuchi, while waiting for the Summer to come.

Anna Takeuchi was born in Los Angeles, but grew up in Kyoto. Heavily influenced by her parents love for music from the 70s and 80s, she started to play the guitar and writing music from a young age. During her first year of high school she held her first successful solo show In 2018, she performed at South by Southwest (SXSW) by the age of 19. She also participated in the Japan Nite US tour 2018 and was able to perform in 6 cities in the United States.
