After all the cancellations and postponements of several big events in Germany, such as Connichi and Wacken Open Air, it may not come as a surprise that the 2020 edition of AnimagiC can’t take place at the planned dates 30 July to 2 August 2020.
The organisation announced that after receiving clear information regarding the ban on large-scale events until the end of August, they decided to officially cancel AnimagiC 2020. They decided to not postpone or modify the event this year, but announced directly a new date for the next edition: 30 July to 1 August 2021 at Rosengarten Mannheim. The ticket sale for this 2021 edition is expected to start in August.
