Yahoo! Japan will donate money when you search for 3.11 today

Like every year, since 2014, you can search for 3.11 via Yahoo! Japan. For each search that will be made today on March 11 to 11:59 pm Japanese time, ¥ 10 will be donated. It will cost you a few seconds and it only can be be done once. Will you help?

On the special page, made for this year, you can see which 6 organisations Yahoo! Japan will support with the collected money on 11 March 2020. One of the organisations is the non-profit organisation Shinsei who works with people with disabilities affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and nuclear accident to renew Fukushima and has the goal to create a bright and peaceful society. It is also possible to directly donate money to these six organisations who are highlighted by Yahoo! Japan.

Today it is exactly 9 years ago that a major earthquake occurred in Japan with tsunami as a result of it (also known as 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami). People still live with the consequences of these events on 11 March 2011.
