Another band who caught some misfortune during the European tour is sokoninaru (そこに鳴る). The band started the tour just last week in Germany, with even a sold-out show in The Netherlands, but soon after the big expo Made in Asia announced their postponement, the band had to look for a way to continue the tour.
They arranged a last-minute show in the Belgian city Roeselare planned for Sunday 15 March as a replacement show for Made in Aisa, which got cancelled a few days later after announced measurements of the Belgian government. They ordered bars, restaurants and nightclubs to close down from the night of Friday 13 on Saturday 14th of March. Also, the government in Austria declared a State of Emergency where many shops have to be closed, public transport maintained and some cafés, restaurants and bars staying open until 3.00 PM. This means more cancellations for the Japanese rock band, in addition to the fact that the Italian show had already been cancelled due to the announced lockdown. These announcements are all related to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The band announced on Saturday 14 March in the afternoon that they have decided to cut the European tour short, because it is difficult to continue the tour in this current situation. They hope to return soon after the situation will be settled, as they described it in their social media post. The last show of the tour took place in the French city Dijon.
