The organisation behind HYPER JAPAN Festival, a big event planned for 10, 11, and 12 July in Olympia London, announced that they will postpone the 2020-edition. In a message they sent out through social media, website and newsletter, the explained that they decided on this after monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely.
HYPER JAPAN says the following: “It is unfortunate, but we feel that this is the most responsible decision in this period of uncertainty.” The message followed up with: “The safety and enjoyment of our guests, visitors, exhibitors and staff remain our highest priority, and we will continue to provide updates on this changing situation as appropriate.”
If you have tickets purchased for HYPER JAPAN 2020, then no further action is required according to the organisation, since the tickets will be still valid for the new dates. There are no new dates announced for HYPER JAPAN, but the organisation stated that they will communicate this as soon as possible. A few Japanese musicians got announced for the 2020-edition of HYPER JAPAN Festival, such as nano, 2& (Double And), BANZAI JAPAN and KOTO.
