Indie pop duo Heavenstamp will embark on a tour through United Kingdom coming Summer. The tour will start on 23 June and end up at the beginning of July, with shows in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and other cities.

Heavenstamp formed in 2009 with four band members, but currently a duo by Sally#Cinnamon who is the vocalist and the guitarist and Tomoya.S, who is also the guitarist of the band. The sound the band make is a combination of several genres like rock, post-punk and shoegazer, but also club music and classical music with a heavy focus on rhythm and melody, all genres that the band members tend to enjoy and eventually inspired them into making their own music. In 2011, they got signed to Warner Music Japan and released their first album, HEAVENSTAMP. They have been writing music and lyrics for various artists including Superfly and Sakurako Ohara. In 2017, Heavenstamp decided to start their own independent label TENGOKU RECORDS.

The duo has currently three albums under their belt, their latest album was titled Love Builders and was released, after a wait of two years, in May 2019. Heavenstamp worked with Bloc Party and Animal Collective in the past, that started with the first EP, titled Hype, which was produced by Bloc party guitarist Russel Lissack. Last year they performed at Rising Sun Rock Festival, an annual festival where only Japanese artists perform. Heavenstamp performs regularly in the United Kingdom, the last time they performed there was in October 2019.

The tour dates are as follow:

Tuesday 23 June: Colours Hoxton – London, United Kingdom
Wednesday 24 June: Face Bar – Reading, United Kingdom
Thursday 25 June: The Crofters Rights – Bristol, United Kingdom
Monday 29 June: The Sunflower Lounge – Birmingham, United Kingdom
Tuesday 30 June: The Star And Garter – Manchester, United Kingdom
Wednesday 1 July: Broadcast, Glasgow, United Kingdom
Thursday 2 July: The Parish – Huddersfield, United Kingdom
Friday 3 July: The Prince Albert – Brighton, United Kingdom

There will be more shows added to this tour, more information can be found on the special Facebook page that has been made for this tour. Also check out the more than 40-minute video interview of Heavenstamp on It Came From Japan.
