Singer-songwriter Mika Kobayashi will embark on a short Autumn tour through Europe later this month. She will perform in Italy, Spain and France. The performance at Teatro Torquis will be a solo concert and a performance with the Samurai sword artists KAMUI.

Mika Kobayashi is known for her participation in very known anime theme songs, such as Attack on Titan or Kill la Kill. Mika Kobayashi started learning the piano when she was young. Though she was keener on acting and dancing at certain times of her youth, she ended up creating her own music band in high school. This led her to a decision to pursue a career as a singer. She moved to Tokyo at the age of 18 and started to compose songs, becoming a singer-songwriter and dancer.

The tour dates are as follows:

Friday 15 November: Teatro Torquis – Filottrano, Italy
Saturday 16 November: Teatro il Piccolo – Milan, Italy
Sunday 17 November: Panettone Theater – Ancona, Italy
Saturday 23 November: Japan Weekend 2019 @ Feria Valencia – Valencia, Spain
Sunday 24 November: Japan Weekend 2019 @ Feria Valencia – Valencia, Spain
Tuesday 26 November: Japan Week @ Megaron (The Athens Concert Hall) – Athens, Greece

It is not the first time she collaborates with the artist group KAMUI, at the latest edition of Japan Expo Paris she also performed with them. This group was formed in 1998 and mix the beauty of form, acting and martial arts in their performances. In Japan, they have their own stages and appear on theatrical performances, movies and show events.

The leader and founder of KAMUI, Tetsuro Shimaguchi choreographed the sword fighting scenes of the film Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003), and performed as CRAZY88-MIKI. He also created the Way of Samurai, named Kengido and opened dojos in Japan, America and Europe. KAMUI also participated in several films by director Masahiko Makino and promotional videos of musicians. KAMUI will have more performances in Europe this month, keep an eye on their Twitter account for more information.
