Psychedelic band Sundays & Cybele announced a short European tour, planned for November. The last time that Sundays & Cybele toured Europe was in 2018, where they promoted their new album On the grass. After this tour, it became a bit silent around the band until August of this year, where they performed in Singapore at Baybeats festival. The festival organisation published the whole performance on YouTube.
In 2017, the band toured Europe for the first time, in the same time period. Sundays & Cybele (– シベールの日曜日, Cybele no Nichiyoubi) is a four-piece psychedelic band formed in Hokkaido in 2004. The band name is taken from the notorious 1962 French movie. The band consists of singer and guitarist Kazuo Tsubochi, guitarist Yoshinao Uchida, bassist Shota Mizuno and drummer Shotaro Aoki. Tsubouchi writes all the music that is derived from the 60’s and 70’s Japanese psych-rock.
The shows during the upcoming European tour will take place in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
