LAB111 comes with Studio Ghibli month

LAB111 komt met Studio Ghibli maand

For those who would like to watch the various movies of Studio Ghibli on the big screen, there is good news! LAB111 in Amsterdam decided to celebrate the movies during the Studio Ghibli month in January 2018. A total fo 14 movies will be shown, including the most recent and most popular. The new movie Your Name can also be seen at LAB111.

Furthermore you can buy tickets for the following Studio Ghibli movies: Castle in the Skye (1986), Grave of Fireflies (1988), Pom Poko (1994), Princess Mononoke (1997), My Neighbor Totoro (1988), Spirited Away (2001), The Cat Returns (2002), Howl’s Moving Castle (2004), Tales From Earthsea (2006), Arrietty (2010), The Tale of Princess Kaguya (2013), The Wind Rises (2013), When Marnie Was There (2014), and The Red Turtle (2016). The movies are in Japanese with English subtitles.

Tickets for the movies can be ordered online, you can’t reserve the tickets. There are no surcharges on the price.

Cult cinema LAB111 can be found at Arie Biemondstraat 111 in Amsterdam and also have a restaurant called Strangelove. The cinema started in the Summer of 2016 in a monumental old pathological anatomical laboratory. In addition to the films, you can also visit exhibitions or attend debate evenings.

LOVEBITES to return to Europe for summer tour with new album ‘Outstanding Power’
