After the announcement that BABYMETAL will perform in the United Kingdom during Download Festival 2018, the kawaii metal band announced performances at the two German festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
Both festivals will simultaneous take place in the beginning of June. Rock am Ring takes place at the Nürburgring race track, Rock im Park takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. The 2018 edition will be headlined by Foo Fighters, Thirty Seconds To Mars and Gorillaz.
The first Rock am Ring festival was organized in 1985 to celebrate the inauguration of a newer version of the race track of Nürburgring. Rock im Park took place for the first time in 1993, in Vienna. A year later it moved to Germany.
It is not clear if there will be more announcements of BABYMETAL at festivals or separate shows. But there is still some time to announce more dates for next year.
