Celebrating this year their 10th anniversary, the all-female steampunk metal band FATE GEAR started another world tour. They will not skip over Europe, as they have shared a list of tour dates for May, with shows in Germany, Portugal, and Denmark. It will be the first time for the Japanese metal band to perform in Portugal and Denmark.

On the first two dates, at Freiburg’s Crash and Gynophobia Festival, the metal band will share the stage with the Taiwanese three-piece metal band MakeMake, who will be touring Europe for the first time. In addition, FATE GEAR will be performing at Japanese pop culture event IberAnime in the Portuguese city of Santarém.

Recently, FATE GEAR performed at the Electronic Empire Fest 2025 at Kawasaki’s CLUB CITTA’, as part of their world tour. But FATE GEAR’s world tour officially kicked off in January on the main island of Okinawa, at Kadena Air Base and later on at 7th Heaven Koza. The steampunk metal band will announce more dates for their world tour in the near future but has made it clear that the upcoming May tour in Europe is a finalised schedule.

The metal band has also been active in terms of music releases. In December last year, FATE GEAR released a new album titled Kill the Shadow King. The album is a follow-up to their previous album The Vanguard Of Hades, released last summer. Furthermore, ‘Captain’ Mina revealed that she was involved for a song for one of the characters from the TV anime series なぜ僕の世界を誰も覚えていないのか?(Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?), where she was responsible for the lyrics, composition, arrangement, and guitar work.
