During the 2022 edition of HYPER JAPAN Festival, a collaboration took place with booking agency Orion Live for a music festival after the day programme of HYPER JAPAN on Friday and Saturday, HYPER Live. The two evenings of the music festival each had a different theme. Japanese dance and pop were featured on the first night (HYPER Party), and underground and alternative music from Japan were presented the following night (HYPER Alternative).

Performing artists in order of appearance on the first evening: DOUBLE AND – MIKUROMIKA – Mika Kobayashi – blank paper – FEMM. The venue was completely filled in anticipation of a Friday evening of dance and pop music from Japan.
