It looked good for a while, but it’s not going to happen. The European tour of instrumental rock band MONO, scheduled to start on the 10th of February, will be rescheduled once again. Yet there is some good news somewhere, the fans now do not have to wait a whole year for the arrival of the Japanese band. The rock band has announced that they want the tour to take place from mid-August to mid-September this year. MONO revealed that the decision to postpone it once again is due to the current ongoing situation surrounding the pandemic.
With this change, there is good news for Dutch fans, as the band has added an extra date, namely in Leeuwarden. MONO’s European tour, titled Pilgrimage of the Soul, will feature a number of special guests, including cellist, pianist, guitarist and singer-songwriter A.A. Williams for most of the tour, the Dutch alternative band GGGOLDDD for a number of shows in the UK and hardcore punk band Svalbard in London, during the tour finale.

The title of the European tour comes from the instrumental rock band’s eleventh full-length album. This album was recorded and mixed during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the summer of 2020 and was released in September 2021.
