The online edition of HYPER JAPAN will soon start, but the organisation is still announcing interesting activities. Not so strange since the online event will last for one whole month -from the 9th of July to the 8th of August 2021. The newest confirmation is the Visual Kei metal band JILUKA. They will join HYPER JAPAN ONLINE for an exclusive event where they will offer never before released concert footage followed by a live Q&A with the band members. The online event will take place on the 8th of August, as one of the closure events of HYPER JAPAN ONLINE.

Tickets for this event – in partnership with Chaotic Harmony Imports & Events – will go on sale later today from 18.00 English time (19.00 in The Netherlands) and will include general tickets and 10 VIP tickets which will provide a chat with all the band members, individually, for five minutes. A translator is included to help you to communicate with the band. Tickets will be available through Eventbrite.

JILUKA started activities in the winter of 2015 with a four-member line-up, vocalist Ricko, guitarist Sena, bass player Boogie and Zyean on drums. They express a variety of emotions by combining their aggressive metal sound with diverse musical essences and utilizing striking, melodious music and are known for their energetic live performances. They have released several mini-albums and singles and even released a cover album, which included a metal version of the hit song U.S.A. In February 2020, they released their best-of album, titled XANADU.

The UK-based convention normally takes place twice a year at Olympia London but had to skip 2020 and 2021 for their physical events due to the ongoing situation around COVID-19, but in the meantime, they have been working hard on digital workshops through Zoom and live broadcasts on their YouTube channel. HYPER JAPAN ONLINE will be offering many events, from online concerts, workshops, viewing parties, interviews and many more. The programme is presented on a special website.
