Jazz band SOIL & “PIMP” SESSIONS announced a few European shows for the upcoming month, October. It has been more than 1 year ago that the band toured Europe. The UK/EU Tour 2019 will start off in London at Ronnie Scott’s, a long-established jazz club that will celebrate 60th anniversary this year. The last date of the tour will take place at the Melkweg in Amsterdam as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event. All performances are one-man live shows.

SOIL & “PIMP” SESSIONS are known as an explosive jazz band from Tokyo, active since 2001, comprised of five musicians. Their brand of jazz is rough around the edges, unadulterated entertainment and constantly kept at boiling point.

It did not take long for SOIL & “PIMP” SESSIONS to become one of the hottest new bands in Japan and becoming favourites of major festivals including Fuji Rock. Their international breakthrough came when Gilles Peterson, renowned British DJ, introduced them through his Radio 1 show “WorldWide’.
