A few days before BABYMETAL will perform a special show at O2 Brixton Academy in London, the kawaii metal band will perform at Glastonbury 2019. The organisation announced the last few artists for their 2019-edition, earlier today with BABYMETAL being one of the confirmed artists. The 2019-edition will take place from 26 June until 30 June.
The performance of BABYMETAL at this festival is planned on Sunday 30 June at the Other Stage from 14.35, between Bring Me The Horizon and Slaves.
Glastonbury 2019 will feature over 2800 performances across 79 stages. And the organisation announced that there will be a few more stages added in the near future. The programme with the stages and timeslots can be found on the official website of Glastonbury. The full name of the festival is Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts and is the largest greenfield festival in the world.
BABYMETAL recently launched the single Elevator Girl, which is expected to be found on the upcoming third album of the band. It is still not announced when exactly the album will be released, only that it will be released later this year.
Another Japanese band performing at Glastonbury is Acid Mothers Temple. They will play on the Friday at the West Holts Stage between the bands Swindle and The Mauskovic Dance Band, from 13.00.
