BABYMETAL announced a special show in the United Kingdom at O2 Brixton Academy in London. The show will take place on Tuesday 2 July. This performance will be supported by two guests, namely Swedish modern metal band AMARANTHE and British mysterious alternative band SLEEP TOKEN.
The pre-sale will start on Wednesday 24 April at 10.00 AM. The general sale of the tickets will start on Friday 26 April at 10.00 AM.
If this announcement is a sign that BABYMETAL will tour Europe is unknown, but the group announced earlier an arena headline show in the United States in October. This will be the first-ever US headlining arena show for the band.
Next month, BABYMETAL will release a new single, titled Elevator Girl, from their forthcoming album. This album will be their first album since the departure of YUIMETAL, last year. BABYMETAL did not set a specific release date for the new album that was announced on 1 April, which is known to fans as Fox Day. But the release will be in 2019. The new album is a follow-up to the album Metal Resistance, from 2016.
