Product Review: Heart – Present from Rilakkuma

Santa finally found his way to my house and delivered this adorable little Present from Rilakkuma. These treats are a special edition for Christmas, but not any less enjoyable a few days after Christmas.

Heart – Present from Rilakkuma
Price: ± €5,-

The cookie tin is presented in a small bag with the same adorable design as the tin. Inside the tin you’ll find three chocolates and three cookies. The wrapping of this Present from Rilakkuma was too cute, and too functional, for me to throw away. You could fill the tin with more chocolates or cookies and use the bag as a gift bag or just use either to decorate your house around Christmas time.

When it comes to flavour these treats were no let down either. The chocolates were creamy, easy to chew and melted in my mouth a little. They seemed to have a small amount of cocoa powder on the outside which gave it a very faint bitter aftertaste. The cookies reminded me of sweet puff pastry pretzels, the layer of sugar on top was nice and crunchy and it was a light but tasty cookie. I didn’t really taste the chocolate chips in the cookie, but even without the distinct flavour of chocolate I liked them.

With its cute packaging and tasty flavours this was definitely a nice Christmas present to receive, hopefully these, or something even better, will be available again next year!
