Following three successful editions of the Ikigai tour, the fourth edition will return in October featuring underground idols 14th Generation Toilet Hanako-san, Satanic Punish and Ayame Oguma. The tour is subtitled Toilet Hell Punishment Tour and will feature performances in the Netherlands and Germany, with a gig at the Willemeen in Arnhem and the Sonic Ballroom in Cologne.
14th Generation Toilet Hanako-san is returning to Europe for the first time in seven years, following the Indie, Idol & Infamous tour in the United Kingdom in 2019. Hanako-san is inspired by the Japanese urban legend about the ghost of a young girl who haunts school toilets. She is recognisable by her red-and-white schoolgirl outfit smeared with blood, an eye patch and her rucksack (randoseru), and is known for causing chaos, screaming and her cursing performance, which is now described as legendary and will be presented in all its glory at the Willemeen and Sonic Ballroom.
Satanic Punish will be performing in Europe for the third time as part of the Ikigai tour. Described as Japan’s heaviest kawaii metalcore/deathcore idol group, the project currently consists of Manomu and, as part of this limited-run return, will also release a re-recording of the track Pray for Satan specifically for this European tour.
Ayame Oguma is set to travel to Europe for the first time for two performances and, with 15 years in the business, can now be considered a veteran of the Japanese underground idol scene. She is known for her unconventional, sharp-witted personality and her highly interactive live performances, in which she completely disregards the usual ‘idol rules’.
In addition to the two performances, an Off-Kai event is also planned, featuring an afternoon packed with various activities in the presence of all the idols, such as a chat, cheki sessions and other activities.
