The flamboyant visual kei artist KAMIJO is returning to Europe for a solo tour in September titled Sanctuary of Europe. The founder and frontman of visual kei bands LAREINE and Versailles moved to the United States last year to further build his career as an international artist. But he certainly has not forgotten about Europe, especially his second home, France, since his last European tour in 2024. Starting September 23, he will play eight shows in seven countries.
Before his European tour kicks off, he will perform with Versailles at the B7KLAN J-Rock Fest in Paris, where the French tour organiser’s 20th anniversary will be celebrated with a two-day festival featuring a line-up of ten Japanese bands and two European bands. KAMIJO will then give his very first performance in the United States in Los Angeles, entitled Sanctus of the Damned. He has also become a columnist for the website JaME and has shared a preview of a demo track the singer-songwriter is currently working on.
