The Osaka-based loud rock band Iscream Never Ground will be heading to Europe for the second time this summer, but this time for a proper tour. The four-piece band has several festivals lined up to introduce themselves to European audiences, including Japan Tours, Animesse Babelsberg, Haltpop and Resurrection Festival. Although this will be their second appearance at the Resurrection Festival.
Iscream Never Ground’s music is described as a mix of metalcore, hardcore, punk and digital sounds, but they are not averse to using wind instruments either. Furthermore, their performances are known for being highly energetic, with a strong emphasis on the two-step.
Over the past few year, the band has been very active in creating a buzz on social media by sharing videos of their energetic performances featuring three vocalists, during which they simply cannot stand still on stage and encourage the audience to join in. And that seems to have worked rather well.
Following the confirmation of their second performance at Spain’s biggest four-day event, Resurrection Festival, a few months ago, the band called on promoters to help them secure more dates across Europe. The result is a European tour comprising eleven gigs across six countries. In the meantime, the band has also been given the opportunity to perform at SXSW in the United States. The band recommends warming up beforehand, but it’s probably not a bad idea to practise in advance so you can join in the performance in top form.
